As you know, our community is a classroom in and of itself.  Therefore, there will be times throughout this school year when teachers take their class on walking trips in the neighborhood.  Walking trips provide students with learning opportunities that appeal to their various learning styles; help students learn about their community; and provide a real-life connection to the lessons students are learning in their classrooms.  Occasionally, students will be taken to the playground adjacent to the P.S. 119x school yard for recess or physical activities.

We ask that you give your child permission to participate in these excursions throughout the school year.
